another little sidenote

One and Two: two of my photos of a sweet little girl named Camden on her fifth birthday this past August.
Three: a screenshot from Marie Antoinette/what I think Camden felt like on this day.

I have to say I did not consciously design Cam’s shoot to look like this moment from Marie Antoinette. I will say I watched the movie a month or two before I approached her mom with the idea I had designed specifically for Camden. Whether or not the movie was criticized for historical inaccuracy/content, it was visually stunning and well designed. I guess I absorbed it a little more than I realized. It’s such an archetypal feminine aesthetic. P.S. Check out that cake in the foreground on the left as compared to the amazingly unprofessionally decorated one that I made up for Cam in her photos. I knew I learned something in my college color theory class!

While looking over these today I thought I’d share a few with you.

the martinez family *sneak peek* [edit]

A quick look from today. And.. *ehem* Pardon me while I take a moment to prove a point. Yes Sarah, you do have a very nice “serious” face.

*I added a few since last night, hence the [edit]. Silly, indecisive me.*
